Your coaches are background checked and during any active season multiple coaches will maintain USA Wrestling Bronze Level Certification, First Aid certified for adolescents and adults, and youth protection training.
DANIEL MILLER (Coach Dan) was a successful high school wrestler who went on to college as an NCAA Division III wrestler and Scholar Athlete. After college Coach Dan trained and competed in Ju Jitsu for years. Coach Dan has been a coach of youth athletes across many sports.
Specifically, in the sport of wrestling, Coach Dan has years of coaching experience including having coached at both the high school and youth levels. He is a father of three with two kids on the team and one on the way. So, for him wrestling is both a passion and a family affair. His positive attitude and passion for the sport will be an infectious attitude that will motivate your child to succeed. Coach Dan is excited to share his love and knowledge of the sport with youth athletes to help them to excel, and achieve their goals, shaping them to become better more disciplined people.
USA Wrestling Certification - Bronze
RICH EVANS (Coach Rich) is a proud father of 4 and an excellent coach. For years he is involved as a coach and a commissioner of youth baseball and also coaches youth football in the wrestling off season.
He has been involved in coaching youth
wrestling for three years and is a former 4 year NCAA Division I wrestler. Coach Rich brings a wealth of experience and insight to the wrestling room.
Coach Rich also has multiple children on the team and knows how to connect with kids and young athletes to motivate them and get them to achieve their goals.
TIM ROTHKA (Coach Rothka) grew up in the greater Pittsburgh area and was an accomplished wrestler in the ultra-competitive Pennsylvania. He went on to become a nationally ranked NCAA Division I at Drexel University where, among many accomplishments, he reached a national ranking of 4th, 4X NCAA Division 1 Championship qualifier, and 2X Conference Champion.
Coach Rothka spent time coaching while attending Drexel and post-graduation as a coach for Drexel University and as an assistant coach for Canon McMillan Senior High School.
Coach Rothka most recently coached for multiple years with Chantilly Youth Association (CYA). He is a software applications manager and is the proud father of a daughter, Sydney, and a son, Spencer.
The USA Wrestling Copper Certification is an introduction to the principles of coaching youth wrestling (12 and Under) and is required to coach at some USA Wrestling events. USA Wrestling recommends this course for coaches, parents, and volunteers with a focus on coaching young athletes to improve your coaching skills in the areas of recruiting and retaining youth athletes in our sport.
The USA Wrestling Bronze Certification is a comprehensive coaching education program for coaches, parents and volunteers who are committed to expanding their knowledge in the art and science of our sport focusing on athletes ages 13 and up. The focus is on developing and sharing information on Sports Science, Sports First Aid, Ethics

Bronze Certifications consist of a 6 hour classroom (with your state office) or online clinic with testing after each Module. Coach certifications with USA Wresting are valid for life - unless removed for disciplinary actions.
The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims
The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
